My teammate Jackie posting about user feedback.
My good friends at the Automattic Editorial Team did a recent revamp of the main WordPress.com tutorial site http://learn.WordPress.com/ . We’ve been making a ton of changes to the user interface and experience for WordPress.com and the tutorial site got a revamp to show off the new changes.
New WordPress release means that it’s time to think about the next release, because WordPress is always changing.
WordPress is a open source project where anyone can contribute ideas, code, documentation, etc. and it is all volunteer based. I always get feedback from users about WordPress with great ideas, but telling me doesn’t do anything. Participating in the open source project is the best way to contribute your ideas to WordPress.
So have an idea? A wish? Make sure to contribute your ideas to the Make WordPress Core P2.
Did you know Automattic is hiring? We are! We have a ton of different positions available, so if you’re interested, our job descriptions can be found on this page. The only downside is, you’ll have to work with me. 😉
One of the positions available is a position called a “Community Organizer.” This is someone who helps organizing the WordPress Community, help advising on WordCamps and other events, and a bunch of other cool stuff. You can read about that position here.
